"Please"! I rather doubt there is any scriptural authority for imagining the Lord of Hosts as polite. Truly we live in decadent times.
The accompanying cartoon is faintly erotic. It shows God's hand holding a well-made young man in fairly tight jeans, well above a sea of flames. The man is straddling God's middle finger and using a mallet to drive a huge spike into His wrist. There is not a lot of blood.
