Not funny: According to a poll (http://pewglobal.org/2010/12/02/muslims-around-the-world-divided-on-hamas-and-hezbollah/), 84% of Egyptian Muslims believe in the death penalty for apostasy. If I learned that 84% of American Catholics believed in chopping off the heads of people who left the Church, I would be skeptical of the prospects for American democracy.
